Community Residences
TCE provides quality residential settings for adults who require assistance in daily living. Homes are generally shared by three to six people, and apartments by one or two, with all receiving support twenty-four hours a day by well-trained staff.
Our dedicated staff provide the flexible and specialized support necessary to meet the unique physical, emotional, medical and communication needs of the individuals living in our homes.
The following are our residential homes:
WILSON HOUSE: A high support wheelchair accessible bungalow in Heart's Desire supporting eight individuals with medical, physical or age related issues.
BAXTER PLACE: A six bedroom accessible bungalow in Westboro for an active group of adults.
ELEANOR PLACE: A large two-storey house in Skyline which is home to eight adults, all of whom work or attend community activities outside of the home.
QUINN RESIDENCE: A high support, uniquely designed bungalow with several living clusters under one roof for six individuals and located in the south end of the city.
KIRKWOOD APARTMENTS: A six-unit apartment building made up of one and two bedroom units supporting ten individuals of varying levels of support requirements.
HILLMOUNT HOUSE: A bungalow and home to five older retired women and friends near Merivale Mall.
KILBARRON APARTMENTS: A cluster of two apartments and two attached townhouses in a Nepean Non-Profit Housing neighborhood, supporting ten individuals.
BURMA APARTMENTS: A unique cluster of shared support in two one-bedroom and one two-bedroom units, supporting four people and located in an east-end housing co-op.
WYMAN HOUSE: An accessible bungalow for five young adults who require support in all activities of daily living near Hunt Club Rd/Airport Parkway.
ANDERSON PLACE: A split-level Crystal Bay area home for five men who are ambulatory and active participants in their community.
ROSEBELLA HOUSE: A smaller house for three individuals in this cozy bungalow off Bank St. close to our Quinn Ave. home.
RIVERBEND HOUSE: A wheelchair accessible six bedroom bungalow with a granny flat off the main floor for one individual, an elevator to the lower level and a multi-sensory snoezelen room, located across from Andrew Haydon Park.
